Imagine having the ability to do anything you want But the more you use the power, the more it weakens you.
Welcome to Ipswich, Massachusetts, home of the sons of Ipswich. A famous group of magical users, well famous to the others anyway, live here. The time is shortly after Chase Collins mysteriously disappears. Only the Covenant and the others knows that Caleb Danvers fought Chase, and everyone remains just as conflicted as the normal members of society. They know he didn't die because no body was ever recovered.
As of late however the magical community in Ipswich has been growing. New people from the magical community have been coming to Ipswich, they are drawn as of late to the magical central point for unknown reasons. Humans too have been coming, but not quite in the vast numbers as the others. The council, an ancient group of magical beings, has sent a special agent of theirs to keep an eye on things and to account for all the magical being, to keep them in order. A few others have been sent as well, to make sure that everything is kept under surveillance as well as to keep the special agent under control.
Meanwhile Chase Collins is not dead, as most already suspect. He is keeping to the shadow gathering the ones who will follow him. Sides are forming, people gathering, which side will cover Ipswich. If that is not enough the Hunters have come for the magical beings. So will the darkness completely surround the town or will the others along side the covenant be able to protect all that is good and pure?
