I have to say no to the Keyblade world idea... for a few reasons.
I know you stated that they can't be stolen but people will try and staff will have to monitor closely, and that seems like more work than needed.
Plus the sheer fact that it could screw up rps by someone stating that the Kingdom key is there when Sora is out and about wielding it. Or some other keyblade.
I mean it just doesn't seem to hold a good purpose to place in the site. Now that's just my personal belief and there might be reasons that it was put off after it was originally supposed to be reviewed or it might not have.

Well if they do steal one from the world it will be put back because as we say in KH, although anyone is able to wield a keyblade, the keyblade picks its master, and we can make it so that no keyblade has a master there.

well if someone is dumb enough to try and steal a keyblade. the first time they will be warned, and if they try it again then they will have disciplinary action taken against them... also it will say in the world description that the keyblades cant be taken from there, so i would hope people can read and dont try stupid stuff....
the reason the Kingdom key is there and also in sora's hands has already been explained... by MY char... the reason is cause that kingdom key the one that is supposed to be there in that time. The one that sora has on him was the one that was brought with him fom 100 years ago.... as it stands right now Riku has the Way of the Dawn, and after explaining this to staff back in the day they understood and agreed to let me wield a Way of the Dawn as well... my char wields the one from this time, and riku wileds the one from 100 years ago that he brought with him in the jump.
plus i have talked to dash about it... he never really gave me a reason why it was "considered" and never made... and we talked again and it was abut the same way... i will ask him to post on this subject and give his say also, next time i see him.
and as for what destroyer said... yes, it will return and yes, the keyblades chose thier master.... its not so much that the keyblades from this world have NO master so much as they NO LONGER have a master, since they are all dead, but yes they still belong to the dead master until they chose a new one... Kind of like the Way of the Dawn did with my char.
that was also part of the reason for the whole memories thing... where you hold a keyblade and it gives you flashes of the person who once wielded that keyblade...
those are some of the points about what Roxas and Destroyer said.... i will leave it up to you guys from here to see if you guys deem it worthy enough to make a world.

Well out of my own choice I'm not going to place a decision upon this world for my reason's stated above.
It just doesn't seem to be necessary to a storyline, other than your own per say... worlds need to be thought of for the whole shibang not just a single story.
But that's all I'm gonna say about it... I'm staying on that and otherwise indifferent.

Well i will start by saying the tally so far is

so as far as i can see the only people that havent put there two cents in are Jack/Sora (no suprise there >_>) and Art.....
and to what Roxas said
I would like to point out that besides the worlds that are super important (and created by and for the game i might add) like Travese Town, Twilight Town, Radiant Gardens, Destinty Islands, The World That Never Was, and Disney Castle... no other world has any real importance to the over all story line, the only reason why the worlds had any importance was cause in both games they were using pathways between worlds to get to them easier so they could steal the hearts for kingdoms hearts... so the only point was to go there and close the pathways... which in reality took all of like 20 seconds... (besides the millions of hours running around doing meanial tasks...>_>) I woud also like to point out that Sherwood Forest, Incrediable Society, and Open Sea were added for this site and once again have the same amount of importance as all other other worlds like Port Royal, and Pride Lands (to give 2 examples) and the amount is little to none, however on a site like this they are great cause it gives you a new world to explore and meet chars in...
However, i would also like to point out as added point to the one i made above.... that this would be the only world suggested so far that has ANYTHING to do with keyblades or keyblade wielders.... and as for storyline... you can make some... at the moment there is no story line, just a begining plot and a few makings for a some storylines.... cause at the moment there arent enough org members for either org to make them "offical" bad guys or a real threat for that matter... i mean yes we have an Ansem... but that is one char played by one player... that could be teamed up against by like 3-4 of the "good guys" we have so far and that would be the end of that... so yeah...
hell i was discusing this with Riku and if you really want some kind of storyline to go with the world that will effect the whole "shibang" then i have a idea.. but i am not going to go into it here, if any of the staff wants to talk it over with me they can over a messager or over PMs...
and yes... at the end of the day it is Dash's decision, so i am waiting on it.
ohhh and if its that mucha problem... i am a Mod... and have no real "job/responsibilities" so i would be willing to moderate the world and take care of all things reguarding the world. Also i might add that when i made and submitted this world the first time there was more to the world, i had an idea for it revolving around the keyblades and a system i had made up for them... i would sumit that too but.. i have seen what people ahve contributed to them so far so i will just keep my system to myself unless the current ideas go down the drain....

I guess I'll vote yes, though it should start out locked, and should only be used for event purposes. While I'm here, I'd like to call attention to the worlds I have submitted under my various guises, most paticularly the End of Time.

We'll see about them. For now, no new worlds will actually be added. They can still be submitted here, but for now, none will be added. We need to get the site more active, complete, and to get some more RP going. I appreciate all the worlds being submitted, so go ahead and continue to do so, but for now, Im worrying more on getting the site up, running, and active. Just quoting this post for you guys so you remember. I dont want to add any new worlds right now. We have a lot of worlds, and I would like some worlds to be unlocked for event purposes. The event template is nearly done, I just need to make finishing touches on it. Then you can make events for these kind of worlds that you REALLY want to have on here. |
