There was a loud yell, and then a flicker... Then Lucian realized he was in his bed sitting straight up. He was drenched in sweat and was breathing heavily. "Ohhh god, it was the dream again" he muttered to himself, as he let the top half of his body fall backwards back onto the bed. His sheets were drenched in sweat and so was his pillow. He leaned his head to the side to look at the clock, it was 6am, he then turned his head to the other side to look out the window out over the beach and into the distance, as he could see the first rays of the sun in the horizon. He didn't bother moving again for a little bit "No point in going back to sleep again, she will be here in about and hour and a half." He knew it was pointless to go back to sleep, Melanie would be there soon enough to drag him out of the house.
They would most likely end up at the island. Lucian didn't have an issue with the island, but each time he went there, he felt odd, like something was there, and he was missing it, always missing it. He also had issues with the fact that "The Dream" took place on the island, and he had been having that dream before he had even set foot on the island.
He pushed the thought to the back of his mind like always and he rolled out of bed and started his morning work out, first his push ups, and then his jumping jacks, then his sit ups, It was pain but it made the day start off better it seemed, he always had more energy when he worked out in the morning. After his work out, he took a shower then got dressed. He then went down stairs and got some breakfast. Cereal, and a slice of toast, with a banana. He then went out side and sat in a chair out on the back porch, staring out at the open sea, his house was on the beach. He sat and waited for Melanie to show, up. It wouldn't be too long before she came looking for him.

(Okay, I hope it's ok to join...sorry for shortness.)
Cloud's motorcycle roared down the street, as he made quick glances around, searching for Sephiroth. He didn't know why, but when he had spotted Lucian, he immediately pulled into the boy's driveway. After parking, Cloud waited, staring at the guy. After a little while, Cloud got off the cycle, and slowly stepped up to Lucian.

After sitting down on his porch and looking out at the ocean for a few minutes he reached his hand down and grabbed his guitar and pulled it up to his lap. He then strung his fingers across the strings and then adjusted the strings to get them to the right sounds. Lucian then sat the guitar in position as he started playing it. As he played it the riff just started coming together, slow at first then a bit faster. He had been working on this riff for a few weeks now, and he was amused for just a moment as the riff just came together. He continued playing as his thoughts drifted away from him and he started thinking about Melanie and how she would be there and soon, and even though he never showed it, he was happy to see her and have her there.
After playing for a few minutes and as his thoughts kept drifting towards Melanie, when his mind was given a quick startle back the world of the living as he heard a loud engine cut off. He hadn’t noticed the engine coming up or going as it pulled into the driveway but once it cut off the sudden change in sound caught his attention. Lucian continued playing his guitar as he watch the spiky blonde haired man get of his motorcycle and made his way up to Lucian’s porch where he was sitting and stopped a few feet in front of him. Lucian stared down the man and also took notice to the large sword on his back. Lucian didn’t say anything, but he did stop playing long enough to look at the clock next to him on the table. It was 7:55 and she would be there in a few minutes, she was never late. Lucian then put the guitar down on the ground next to him and without getting up he looked the man in the eyes “Who are you? and what can I do for you?”
Just as the last word came out of his mouth Melanie came walking around the corner on the other side of the porch “good morning dearrrr…….” As her voice trailed off and her eyes caught sight of the spiky blonde haired man standing but a few feet from Lucian. She just stopped in place and her eyes went from the man to Lucian back to the man and back to Lucian. She had never seen the man before and was little worried that he might try and hurt Lucian, but knew better then to run up to them.

Cloud had glanced around, at the house, the guitar, Lucian, and when she arrived, Melanie. His gaze switched to and from Melanie and Lucian, as he asked, "Have you seen a long, silver-haired man? His sword is longer, and thinner, than mine." He didn't know why he was asking them. Sephiroth would have probably killed them, if he had come here.

Lucian just looked the man up and downa few times then waited a few more seconds "no..... i havent seen a man fitting that description..." He then turned his head to Melanie who just shook her head no and stood there not moving. Lucian then motioned to her to sit in the chair next to him with his eyes and then turned back to the man "and it would seem she hasnt either..." As he spoke she started walking and took a seat next to Lucian and just looked from the man to his motorcycle then to Lucian.
Lucian just continued to sit there and look the man up and down, he wasnt sure what to make of this man, or his request reguarding the other man witha sword, but either way it was interesting to say the least.....

Cloud nodded, after hearing their answers. "If you do see him, run." He thought that he should warn them, seeing that Sephiroth was a dangerous man. Cloud hoped that these two wouldn't end up like the people of Nibelhiem. The girl sort of reminded him of Tifa, the way she seemed to take care of the boy.
"The name's Cloud," he spoke, turning back to his motorcycle, "dilly dally, shilly shally." His last comment was said, more to himself. Cloud had stepped up to his bike.

Lucian just sat there for a moment *run..hum... interesting...* he thought to himself. Lucian continued to sit there and look the man up and down. Melaine just sat there and watched as the man talked and then looked from the man to the motorcycle and then to Lucian and just kept her gaze on Lucian. Lucian didnt move or try to get up as the man started to walk away, then the man said his name. *Cloud... I know I have heard that name....wait... from the books,…… one of the heroes.....* Lucian then sat up straight in his chair "Cloud you say... thats an interesting name....I have heard that name before ... but the thing is... there is no way you could be that person cause he was alive around 100 years ago... his name was Cloud Strife if my memory serves me, ....and it does serve me well quite often”
Lucian was interested to see what the man had to say, he knew Cloud wasn’t a very common name, but there was no way this could be the Cloud from the books, that would make him over 100 years old.

"Cid said that we were thrown 100 years into the future. Why? We don't know," Cloud responded, as he mounted his bike. It roared to life, but instead of driving off, he pulled up to Lucian and Melanie, and asked, "By the way, have you met people by the names of Sora, Riku, and Kiari?"

Lucian was a little shocked at first by his answer *this is Cloud...Cloud Strife....from 100 years ago... but thats impossible....how the hell?....* he thought to himself. "But thats impossible..." he mumbled to himself as his gaze was still on Cloud, but he was no longer looking at him, he was looking right past Cloud as his sight was lost as his his thoughts were also lost for a moment.
Then as Cloud rode up to him and Melanie, he snapped out of it and went to say something to Cloud "....." as then Cloud spoke out, and as he heard the names his eyes began to glaze over, and Melanie jumped up and looked at Lucian "ohhh no" was all she said as she started to take a step towards Lucian. She knew that he was about to freak out, as she got to him she jumped on his lap and hugged him and started to whisper words into his ear.
Lucian just sat there his eyes glazed over as he then looked up to meet Cloud's eyes "Did he....get thrown...into this ...time too?" was all he could get out as his anger began to rise and take him over, and even Melanie's attempt to calm Lucian down wasnt working. Just the mention of Riku's name was bringing his rage to the surface.

Cloud hadn't noticed that Lucian had become angry because he had mentioned Riku, thinking that someone had passed by. "Yeah, Cid thinks that since he was a keyblade weilder, and since we were thrown, then there is a chance that he and his friends were thrown in. Cid wanted me to ask around."

Lucian anger only seemed to get worse at the mention of riku also being thrown into his time, because he was a keyblade wielder. At this point Melanie was very worried and looked at cloud with a face of sadness and then dug her face into Lucian's neck and she continued to try and calm him down, tightening her hug on him. She then started whispering in his ear again. Lucian just sat there, it was obvious that he was thinking and it wasn’t good. Lucian’s thoughts kept going to one thought……Riku….. and the very thought enraged him to the point of blinding white rage. Lucian had spent most of his life constantly hearing how he looked like Riku, and could be his ghost or reincarnation, and important Riku was…. and to be honest Lucian couldn’t care less. The thought that he wasn’t even special enough to be his own person, but instead to have to be Riku reborn made him so angry that he couldn’t even think straight.
Melanie knew better then anyone what Lucian was like and how this would end. She worried about him, and her love for him caused her to always stay by him and try to be his calming place, but she knew this time was going to be worse and it was going to take a lot more to calm him down this time. She continued whispering in his ear telling him that she loved him and it would be ok, and to try to listen to her voice and follow it away from the anger.
After a few more seconds her voice started to get through to Lucian and the life in his eyes started to come back as his rage began to subside. Then after about a minute more Lucian had his composure again as he looked down then back up to Cloud again. “Sorry… I have a bit of an issue….. but as for your question…no, neither of us have seen any of those people….” and then he turned his head a little and murmured to himself “but I hope I do soon.” Which at this point Melanie had pulled her head away from Lucian’s neck to be able to see his face “Please let it go…I am begging you.. don’t think about it” was all she could say in a whispering manner, so only he could hear her voice. Lucian then looked back at cloud again “but I am sorry, we had plans already and we have to get going, but good luck on finding the person you are looking for.”

Did this kid have a problem with Sora? Cloud pondered the thought, as he gazed into the anger in Lucian's eyes. Sora had saved the worlds from Organization XIII and the Heartless. What more did he want? Cloud would need to tell the gang about him. He didn't like having to return to Radiant Gardens, before finding Sephiroth. He had promised himself sort out the man, who had killed his hometown, before seeing Aerith again. Cloud pulled away from Melanie and Lucian, after nodding at the girl.

Lucian didn’t say anything as Cloud rode off, all he could think of was Riku. Then a moment later he started to think about his actions in the last few minutes. He looked up at Melanie, and then into her eyes. He felt disgraced to look at her; he couldn’t believe he let himself get that worked up just by hearing his name. He felt ashamed and he turned his look away from Melanie who was now also looking him in the eyes, he turned his eyes away and then dropped his head so he was looking at the ground.
Melanie whispered to him "Its ok dear, don’t be mad or sad, I know you and I know what that meant to you... I am sorry and you know I love you and I will never turn away from you...never" and with this she pulled her arm away from her hug she had been hold around him and put her hand to his cheek and brought his face to look up to her's, and when his eyes met her's he was taken in by the compassion in them, and how she held that compassion for him.
She just smiled at him "its ok, now get yourself together, we have plans.... and we are going to go through with them, so lets get this show on the road" and with this she leaned in and gave him a kiss. She then got off his lap and stood up and then he stood up, and she leaned over and wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a hug, "I do love you and always will, no matter what happens" was what she said into his ear as she hugged him, and then she brought herself away and smiled at him. Then for one of the few times that he could remember he felt calm and peaceful as he smiled at her.

After a few more moments Lucian started to laugh a bit, just a light laugh though. Melanie just looked at him with a playful, but confused look on her face "what’s so funny?" Lucian stopped laughing and just smiled "oh..... nothing" and then he just bent over and wrapped his arm around his waist "ohh no what are youuuuu" was all Melanie could say as Lucian then lifted her up and threw her over his shoulder "I think I got everything, lets go" said Lucian as he started to laugh and walk towards the beach with Melaine thrown over his shoulder. "Why you little butt head, I’ll get you" said Melaine as she started laughing too, just letting him carry her, there wasnt much she could do about it anyways.
The two of them played around as he walked down the beach with her over his shoulder. After a few minutes of walking they were at the small dock where they kept the boat they used to get to the island. Lucian put Melanie down and leaned in to give her a quick kiss, but she dodged it “I don’t think so you little caveman” she said as she laughed and then spun around him real quick and wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug from behind and placed her chin on his shoulder so their faces were right next to each other and they took a moment to look out over the water and over to the island in the distance. Then Lucian turned his head and gave her a kiss, this time she let him, and then he lead her out on the dock, with her still wrapped around him. She let go as they got to the end of the dock. Lucian jumped down into the boat, and held out his hand to help her down. After she was in the boat, Lucian turned on the small engine and they began there trip out to the island.
